Awww... I don't know what to say, except I'm still totally in love with this story. And it's so good to see poor Jack starting to heal.

So - when will you write more in this continuity? *g*

Thank you so much, both for this and for all your help while I was writing the story. MUCH appreciated!

When you buy me in the next fic auction, perhaps? ;)

“Don’t snore, do you?”

Amazing how you managed to make that a warm, tender line. Romantic, even. :-)

A very, very satisfying conclusion.

Aww, thank you! I was struggling for a while over what I thought the Doctor might say here, because I really couldn't see him getting all lovey-dovey or even flirty at that moment, and then that line just came to me. I'm so glad it worked for you :)

I think this may be one of your best stories--and that's saying a lot. I'm in love with this Team TARDIS--with the Doctor, removed enough from his own trauma that it no longer affects his behavior and helps him help others who are going through the same thing; with Rose, who's suffered her own trauma but is learning that she can come home again after all; and with Jack, dear, damaged Jack, who's finding healing where he least expected it. They're all so different from their Prime Universe counterparts, but recognizable nonetheless. Truly fantastic work. I won't bug you for a sequel, but I'd certainly read more of this universe.

Incidentally, I'm wondering if one of the reasons the event is established is that it galvanizes Pure Blood's opponents. I know if I'd been a moderate on Earth, not liking PB but also not knowing just how bad they were, Schattenwelt would horrify me. Even some of those who are nominal supporters might realize this goes too far. If you do a follow-up, I personally would like to see PB get what's coming to it. I'm thinking Rose and the Doctor would, too.

I like this. The story's so complete unto itself, I couldn't imagine where a sequel would go, but you're right, HonorH--this kind of incident becomes a kick to the political anthill, and there's all *kinds* of story hooks in that.

Well, yes, it could be... and what's making me think in sequel terms is that the Doctor did tell Jack that he's going to take him back to fifty-first-century Earth one of these days...

Oh my god, aaaawww. You know, I kind of prefer this to JE. Rose doesn't get dumped again by her Doctor; she finds another Doctor and a Jack that needs her. And is super cute and happy. :)

Aww, thank you! Yes, Rose gets a happy ending all around, including her very own Jack ;) Glad you liked it!

Yeah!! I enjoyed that. I liked this Jack's backstory and seeing his recovery to the person we met in Empty Child/Doctor Dances. Lovely.
