The lottery went down, the last door slammed and the dummies walked. Her fate was sealed, but he took her hand, unlocked the doors and opened her eyes to the universe.
Now she’s got a key in her pocket, a hand in her own and stars in her eyes. Doors no longer imprison but beckon, a gateway to adventure.
Run, he said, and every day she does.
