Another weekend gambling...
Today was opening weekend at Santa Anita...and I got my fix! Between Totally Gone, Dancing Edie, and T H Approval, I pulled in a little extra money. But then, after winning three races in a row, I go and lose on the fourth. But I love the ponies! Then, when we decided to leave, we got to walk out through rows of Bentleys, Corvettes, Jaguars, and Maseratis. There was this shiny black Stingray that made me want to go joyriding...but alas, I am a responsible adult now...or so Daly says. So to mourn my Stingraylessness (put that in the dictionary Webster!) we meandered around Rose Hills Memorial grounds. They have an amazing Buddhist Columbarium that is surrounded by statues that I got obsessed with...okay, so it wasn't obsession, but intense interest. It could happen to anyone...
