economic repercussion
Another economic repercussion has trickled down to the ballpark again. This was the WEEK a big national tournament was scheduled. In the past Steve has taken a week of vacation from his day job to work this kind of tournament. I didn't want him to use any of his vacation this year because he only has a week built up compared to the 4 weeks he would have had at his old job. Then it started looking like the tournament wasn't going to be as big as it was in the past and would only be Fri., Sat & Sun. Now many teams have called and canceled because of the high cost of gas. There will be NO tournament. Can't say I am sorry I'll have my hubby home for the weekend. We don't bank on this money but I know probably a lot of people do.
