Working weekend : )
I feel good about all the work Steve and I were able to accomplish over the weekend. Can't remember the last time he didn't have games on the weekend. Saturday we cleaned up all the debris from the roofing job at son's house. Three little truck loads to a VERY ICKY transfer station. Smelled REAL bad. Even with my over active scavenger genes I wanted out of there FAST. Looked like some interesting items were mingled in the stuff people where tossing in BUT most stuff was gross and STINKY.
Sunday we worked on the garage. We removed a dog house that was built in under the work bench. The outside entrance to the dog house was closed off last summer so it was really just a huge empty wooden box without any access taking up space we could use. Nice to have that space back. Sure do miss old Shadow dog.
This morning had to drop Steve's truck off at the shop. Needs a new water pump and shocks. Next time it'll be my Jeep's turn for a visit to the shop. Gotta keep these old vehicles running.
Need to head over to Neosho to pick up Autumn -- just got a call from Jessica. Ben's staying home sick today so I won't go to pick up Autumn at 8. I'll go over about 9 so Ben won't have to watch Autumn while he's sick. I worry that my daughter and her husband are pushing theirselves too hard. Yesterday they drove to Kansas City to a reptile show. Between their jobs, their family, their animals, home and garden they have enough work for ten people. Jessica sounded exhausted on the phone.
