Honesty: the best policy
I must confess I didn't see this coming. Not at all. The responses I've had have astounded me. In fact, the most astounding is, "How would you feel if Marta excluded someone you liked from the MEFAs?"

About damned time.
Had you been up front and honest about this being a not-everybody awards program in the first place, I would have merely declined to participate and left well enough alone. It IS your awards, you are allowed to run it as you see fit. But you deleted half my nominations and then told me you didn't want anybody to know about it being not for everybody.
You misrepresented your awards to me, and then used me to wreak revenge in a grudge I had no part of. That was not only unprofessional, but unethical. You FORCED me to act.
As far as I'm concerned, the moment I see your admission on the main page of your awards of the not-everybody aspect, this matter is closed. I am posting messages acknowledging your new policy of honesty and declaring it closed in as many venues as I posted my exposé. I am doing what I can to close down the drama.
However, needless to say, I won't participate in your Golden Quills, regardless of amnesty. I do not participate in events that are biased.
But, as far as I'm concerned, this is finished the moment I see you make pubic, on your awards page, that only those people who are neutral or friendly to you are invited to play.

This matter is forgiven and forgotten. If only you weren't the only one of my detractors to show such integrity! If everyone was like you in respect of putting right the wrongs, I wouldn't have restricted the contest in the first place. There would be no drama and no problems.
If the others can do what you have done, I'll let them on straight away, no questions asked.
I'm all teared up here. Why can't they all be like you?
