Mini Vacation!
I MADE THE DEAN'S LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boyfriend has being working in Kansas City since late August, right after we got back from vacation. He is only here on weekends. This weekend, I went to visit him in Kansas City. Boyfriend used his rewards to get me a free ticket. On Friday, we went to this outdoor mall called the Plaza and ate at The Cheesecake Factory. I don't care if it is a chain. It is wonderful! We also discovered a cool music synchronized Christmas light show.
On Saturday, we went to some hunting store that has creepy taxidermy everywhere and also, a large fish tank. I'm not sure what we were doing there, seeing as how neither one of us hunt, but whatever. We then went to this place called Union Station which is a mall and also an old train station. We had Barbeque from Famous Dave's. It was AMAZING. I know Kansas City is known for barbeque, but wow. Best barbeque I've ever had. Then, we went to Dave and Buster's where I discovered my Need for Speed. I don't play many video or computer games. In fact, the only ones I have ever played are Tetris and The Sims. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! We need this game here. You can play with four people at a time. Boyfriend kicked everyone's ass. This is also strange, seeing as how HE SAYS he never plays video games. Mmmmhmmm. The rest of the night we just drove around looking at lights and houses. I love driving around new places.
Sunday, we went back to Union Station and just kind of sat and talked. Then I went home.
Now, I am at work.
