Assignment from Mokie!
Mokie assigned me the letter M, along with these rules:
1. Comment on this post.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.
1). Madame Bovary. She's not the most sympathetic of characters, but the book really struck a note with me and I see her as more of a victim of her time and gender.
2). Molly Weasley. She's everymom, or what every mom should be. She seems a pushover, but you really don't want to fuck with her, or her kids for that matter. You'll find a knitting needle up your arse before you can say "quidditch'.
3). Mickey Mouse! Actually, not just Mickey, but let's face it- it all started with him, didn't it?
4). Mulan. Every time I take the 'Which Character Are You' test at DCA, I get Mulan. I was a bit of a tomboy growing up, so it works for me.
5). Manuel, from Faulty Towers. Great foil for Basil (John Cleese), and unfailingly sweet and earnest, despite all of Basil's nastiness.
