So, remember when last night they found Shannon's inhaler and it was a completely random event. It wasn't exactly random. It was a playful little shoutout
It's from Comic-Con. Jorge (hurley) asks a question to the writers, and he asks "Is everything going to be answered?" and they say something like everything important will be.
Remember in "Confidence Man," Sawyer is tortured to find out if he stole Shannon's inhaler. He goes on to say explain that the episode ended without the missing inhaler being explained.
"So what happened to the inhaler?"
Clearly an inside joke.
