Recently I took a different tack and got out of my comfort zone for reading.  Or maybe I got back into my comfort zone.  When I read fiction, I have a hard time staying awake.  It will take a very long time for me to read a book of fiction since I have to keep waking myself up after a few pages to continue on.  It's not necessarily that I am bored ( Read more... )

Over at the bogwitch64 s LJ, she brought great news that Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was going to get the BBC treatment for a movie or miniseries or whathaveyou.  I am about 1/3 of the way through this 800 page doorstop.  The reason I haven't finished it is because I fall asleep just a few pages after I start reading ( Read more... )
