Belated Thank-You for all the birthday well-wishes
! The flowers were beautiful, I had a nice dinner at Nick&Sam's, received a lovely Tiffany's bracelet to match my ring and necklace
, and had a fun birthday dinner at Buca di Beppo (you MUST TRY the mango-berry martini! sooooo good!).
Now that I'm officially past "the mid twenties," I just feel...old. But I still get carded for drinks, which, while somewhat annoying, I'll take whatever symbols of youthfulness I can get.
The randomness that is (fortunately or unfortunately) my life:
1. It's finally gotten cold...which only reminds me of how any temperature below 65 is too damn cold and how I love warm and cool weather, but hate freezing weather.
2. Took my EC-4 Generalist pre-test and passed! whoohoo! Now I'm allowed to sign up to to take the real EC-4 Generalist.
3. I've discovered/finally tried the "Big-O-on-a-plate" that is Ruggles White Chocolate Bread Pudding. I already said "Big-O-on-a-plate"--need I say more???
4. The semester is almost over! The looming and huge end-of-course projects are almost due. I'm about to be owned.
5. The Mango-Margarita at Taco Diner will kick your ass.
6. I'm somewhat allergic to strawberries, which is how mango has become my new flavoring of choice.
7. I've been reviewing thousands of documents pulled from our client's employee's computer, and on there are a million pictures of his girlfriend/wife, dog, apartment, etc...I feel like I'm violating this anonymous person's privacy. Ew.
8. I bought the Nickelback and Carrie Underwood CDs.
9. Pride and Prejudice was good (although I've been told several times that the BBC Miniseries is better); Good Night and Good Luck, though in the running for an Oscar nomination and receiving 4-stars all around yadda yadda, was so incredibly boring we walked out after 20 minutes.
10. Ruth's Chris filet mignon sizzling in extra-butter is SO GOOD.

12. People are already gone for Thanksgiving...the office is too quiet, which makes for an extremely unproductive work day. Who wants to work when no one else is??
