I'm in a horribly grumpy mood right now, and you'll find out why in a moment. But first, as ordered, an update:
*Came back from vacation, ready and rarin' to go back to work. I'm weird like that - was fully looking forward to returning to Toronto by the end. St. Lucia and Dominica were amazing, even more so Dominica. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and we didn't get it until 5 days later. On the way home, our flight from Newark to T.O. was canceled and we had to spend the night in Jersey (hollerrrr at trip insurance - we were covered for a hotel). This is the cranky person version of my vacation rundown.
*Worked 27 hours this past weekend for the MuchMusic Video Awards, taking pictures the whole time. I used my own camera so we wouldn't have to rent an extra one, which leads me to...
*Finding out my camera was stolen on Monday morning. I left it in a locked room at work before I took off for the afterparty at 1am, and by 9am it was GONE. My beautiful baby, my Canon Rebel XTi. I'm not sure what's going to happen. I'm a total sourpuss right now because Security just informed me that they reviewed the tapes and there is no evidence of theft - only the cleaning and maintenance people went in there like they were supposed to. Well, I knew that. I don't want to point fingers, but.... my camera didn't just disappear?!
