BOORRRRIIIIING
Arcade Fire shows have been selling out in minutes all over the place, but Kat and I are part-time superheroes and thusly, bought four tickets. The first two were balconies - we bought them just in case but demanded more satisfaction. The second two were floors, so naturally those win in a battle of floors vs balcony, and the first two we'll sell no pablum. Also coming up: Amy Winehouse (rescheduled to May! AAGHH my patience!) and Lily Allen. Awwweesoommmme.
Umm...uhh..BORING! Let's see. Oh yes, Mom was here last week for a conference, so I got to see her in the evenings! I'm always amused by Mom and her friend Pat's choice to eat in the mall food court at dinner time. In Toronto! City of food dreams! Eat anything you want (except real Mexican)! They are quite impressed with the food court's variety. Ok, to give them the benefit of the doubt, they are provided large meals at the conference and were never very hungry come dinner time. I'm still amused.
