If you've ever wondered where I got the idea for Audrey's name--I know this is terrible, but the inspiration was Audrey Williams. The beautiful, awful, snakepit of a wife of country music great Hank Williams. The woman who inspired such pain-wracked classic songs as "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "You Win Again."
I read a bio of Hank Williams while pregnant with Audrey, and the name just stuck in my head. Obviously I don't want her to be a crazed heartbreaker like the original Audrey...but I still love the origin of her name, I can't help it.
