Spent one more night at the folks. Feeling a lot fresher.
Our little odd Aud is all over the place. Still sticking to her basic pattern, but every night she switches things up just a tad.
She slept on the couch after her 5 p.m. feeding and awoke for a 9 p.m. feed. Then, woke up at 11 and wanted to eat again. After that, woke at 2 and ate. Cried at 3 briefly, but stopped abruptly and fell back asleep without any intervention (nobody even came into the room--she silenced that fast). Woke at about 5:20. (Hey! She didn't do that horrid 3-6 thing again! Yay!)
I am wondering if and when she'll ever STTN. She still seems comitted to three feedings a night. She HAS to eventually sleep the night, right? This can't go on forever?
We are offering her 4 ounces at every meal--she takes the full amount about half the time.
I'm going to get stricter with myself this week. No more sleeping in the nursery. I'm not getting good sleep anyway, so what the fuck? Why not lie in my own bed. (My husband is being really adamant about this--he thinks it's lame that I'm on the floor every night). Second, I think I might close her door at night too, so I hear less of her little "non-emergency" self-soothing cries. I will still be able to hear her just fine when she really needs me, believe me. Third, I'm going to put hubby on a night feeding. Probably the midnight one.
