Really shitty game.

1) Low scoring. One touchdown on either side, and a bunch of piddly piddle points.

2) 80 thousand flags thrown. Whatshisface who false-started THREE times needs to take up golf, or something.

3) John David is going to be lucky if he ever gets to start again. At least, that's what I think.

Annoyed.

yeah, the penalties were ridiculous. But WTF was up with the offensive play calling? HELLO, don't keep trying the exact same shit that hasn't been working all afternoon. I think Kiffen is going to be in some hot water.

You think JDB is done? Sanchez is going to have to show an awful lot for that to happen I think. The few times he played this year only made me think what a showboater he is.

ucla, on the other hand, played a great game. Their defense was great, and we pretty much engraved an invitation for Cowan to keep running the ball. ARGH.

I'm going to be hearing SO MUCH shit on Monday - surrounded by Bruins.

John David IMO was fairly uneven this season, and didn't have enough moments of Leinart-esque genius to overcome it. I don't know if he is actually finished--like you, I doubt it--but in my book he's blah. I started out liking him and thinking he was going to pull us through with a levelheaded approach rather than a showy one. But...ergh. The games we lost this season, what the hell? (BTW, re: offense...Norm! Waaaaah! Come back!)

Yes, UCLA did well today, but we were really lackluster.

I did want to note that I think Karl Dorrell is a handsome man. Southern California, we have nice-looking coaches. No Charlie-ate-the-chocolate-factories out here! (heh.)

Ha, that's true. Dorrell actually got excited on the field today, too - not at the end, but he did a jump, fist-pump, enormous smile combo earlier on.

I don't think Booty is great, obviously, I just don't know that we have anyone ready to replace him. Sanchez left a nasty taste in my mouth at Stanford when he insisted on running in that TD himself. It's called leading a TEAM, dude. Try it. We'll see, I guess. You think they'll let him start the Rose Bowl?

I was so sad when Norm left, and it was worse this year. Boo!

Yeah, I get you. And yes, I think Bootybootybootybooty will be starting at the Rose Bowl. We'll see.

I'm in a bad mood. Snort. Well, at least I am holding up to my tradition of finding a cute male to comment on every single game.

BTW, doesn't look like Michigan will go to the championship now either--do I have my BCS stats correct? My family is going to be all in a tizzy. What a weekend. I didn't watch with my dad today because I've been feeling a little under the weather.

I mean, with the florida win today. That knocked U of M out, right?

I don't think they've been completely knocked out just yet. In my mind, Florida will be in it, but that's not reality at this point. I just can't justify a berth for UofM (thus many arguments at our house tonight over who "deserves" to go)-- of course, I might be slightly biased.

It's an interesting year, for sure. I just know my family will shit if Michigan AND SC are both out of the running. (Me, I don't care too much about Michigan although that would make for a fun matchup for the championship.)

The thing that pisses me off about UCLA fans--don't you WANT the Pac 10 to go to the championship? I mean, obviously, UCLA wanted to beat SC last night. But all the glee that was going on about being the spoiler--the Pac 10 takes enough shit as it is. It's different with the other conferences. We get no respect.

Oh well, I need to let this go. They were mentioning that our Dwayne J. is likely to be first-round draft pick so that's nice.
