back in the 'cuse
so the last week i was home was a lot of fun. i got to see the guys a few times, one of which we just hung out and the other we played poker. we played low something or other and blind mans bluff. a few hands of which i looked at my cards and then realized i'm an idiot and had just cancelled out the whole point of blind mans bluff, lol. it was fun. we also made a midnight run to wegmans, always entertaining. on thursday morning kailee and i went out to the diner with her sister-in-law-to-be for breakfast. it was fun and the food was really good and cheap :D, can't go wrong with that. i had some family time and some sleep time and i guess that's it. it was a nice relaxing week without work and without too much stress...lol.
so all in all it was a pretty good summer. i made a good chunk of change while getting to meet some of the most interesting, entertaining, and diverse people i'll ever meet at the factory. i got to spend some time with my home friends, although not as much as i would have liked to. i got to hang out with kailee quite a bit, which meant a lot of laughs and a lot of talking. i miss ya ho, u're a great friend and i do appreciate all that you do.
noooooooooooooooooow i'm back in the 'cuse for band camp. leadership camp was 2 days of fun and work, but i do feel more prepared to teach this semester. the rookies came yesterday and we have some awesome rookies. the SUMB is going to have a great time this year. also, on the topic of rookies, i have the coolest band buddy, and from what i keep hearing one of the hottest band buddies, lol. he's a good guy and he wants to join an a cappella group, woohoo!
so yeah, other than band camp, i've been seeing all the cool SU kids and we've been having a lot of fun. the rest of the vets get here today, so i'm sure tonight will be a good time :D.
anywho, i'm off to get ready for another fun day. silent drill this evening :D :D :D

p.s. i'm living next door to rachel and renae and across the hall from michelle and my roomie got here yesterday. holy hell, it's going to be a fun year :D we've already had some good times and there are much more to come!!! :D
