72. Twisted by Jeffrey Deaver (383 pages): A collection of short stories in the mystery/thriller vein, all with a little twist (or two or three) at the end. A couple were predictable, but all were entertaining.
73. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Men I've Dated by Shane Bolks (291 pages): Complete and utter geek Rory (accountant, obsessed with Star Wars/Star Trek/X-Files) runs into Hunter, her lifelong crush, and wants to win him over. The problem is that she may have gone a little too far -- arguing with her best friend and sister and ditching her mom's surprise birthday party for the guy -- and she hasn't been completely honest (about her geekiness, her flaky ultra-liberal vegan hippie family, etc.). Hilarious book. I can totally related to Rory, both on the obsessed-with-a-movie-or-TV-show quirk (X-Files anyone?) and the love-from-a-far situation. And I swear that Rory's nerdy boyfriend was modeled on my ex....
