the latest on dad
joe and i saw my dad last night. he's in a regular room, off all of the constant iv drips and looks and sounds much better. all of these things are good things. he still has a long road to go but he's heading in the right direction. they are still figuring out the liver and kidney issues, i guess that will be more of a slower process. the real big thing is going to be getting him to follow the doctors' orders when he finally comes home. not listening and following directions is partly to blame for this latest, in my own opinion. he's not going to be a very happy camper when he gets home, mom either for that matter, but my sister and have talked we really aren't ready to lose either of them just yet.
