Dreadful story w/r/t the Google St George's Day doodle.

Oh, my complaint's not the newsworthiness, or whether it was merely reprinting a press release. Rather, when a newspaper that wishes to maintain a broadsheet ethos misnames historiated initials, thinks them to be represented on the Bayeux Tapestry, and begins a sentence, 'Despite him being England's patron saint' in utter ignorance of the gerund's taking (see what I did there?) a possessive ... the subeditors want sacking.
