Funny old place, the internet....

I am, as may have been noted, slowly easing into Facebook, God knows why.  (By the way: should you wish to 'friend' me there, please do make certain I know you by whatever name you use there, I'm appalling with remembering names when not actually staring at the associated LiveJournal and its iconography.)

Evidently, there is a mechanism by which ( Read more... )

I should hope that *some* people on LJ can read. But the dramatic defriending? Eh. I think we'd all be better of if LJ didn't tell us about these little fits. *shrugs*

Yes, I was being a touch sarcastic with the Brown revolution. Bitter? Perhaps. Curious? Also.

It's a rather common name for Gordon to be able to ruin all by his lonesome.

Oh, it wasn't drama, really, and I shouldn't mind had it been. wemyss January 20 2010, 16:21:29 UTC
People are under no obligation to read things they don't like, after all. It did serve to remind me that a general amnesty policy wanted reiterating just now, though, particularly as I've a few newer friends here now (you being an admirable instance of 'em).

And never underestimate the power of the Ghoul of Kirkcaldy to ruin absolutely anything unaided. The man's a reverse Midas.

I do wonder what Silenus was doing in Fife. Or not doing?

Perhaps the newly elected Senator's impressive showing in Cosmo will rescue the family name.

I'm sure Petronius had first *cough* hand experience. When not dogged by Priapus.

Perhaps that's why Epimelides watch over apple trees *and* sheep. Rural politics at their finest.

With 'flute-playing' shepherd lads?

Yes, well, it does take a certain elegance to (wait for it) pull that off. Lord Mandelson, no doubt, cd do so....

Homo homini lupus, rarely with skill. And homo homini ovis far too often. Although perhaps not in the sense we've implied.

And to think the little bird first mentioned hens when adumbrating his country retreat plans. Beard?

And yes, the next gen must creep in.
