It is almost perfect. (There are perhaps two dubious notes and one possible anachronism.) My only real criticisms of it are, firstly, that some chapters are in type that is rather too small for those of us over forty-five to read comfortably, and, secondly, that I didn’t have the honour of writing it, not that I’d have done half so well had I tried.
You simply cannot miss this. It is superb.
