bad news bears
Yesterday was totall bad news bears! I got into my car to go to work and it wouldn't start. It would but then it would quit soon after and various dash lights would go on. I had to call in to work and then call a tow truck. Soon there after construction began and lots of large construction trucks were on my road. The tow guy was late by 2.5 hours and couldn't get onto the road. He was baffeled why my car wouldn't start and he had to push it himself out of the drive way because I still had my cast on. He eventually got in lifted with the tow truck and I got a ride with him to the body shop. I told them what was wrong with it and how it had electrical problems before and this seemed like more of the same. They said probably won't get a chance to look at it since they were short mechanics so I had them give me a ride to a rental car place. They said I was lucky to pick them because they are the only rental car place that rents to people under 25. I got a dodge neon for $54 dollars a day. I was too tired to go to work and it would have been sucky to go for like 3 hours so I went home to rest before my doctors appointment. I went there and got my cast off. The x-rays said that it's still slightly fractured. I have to wear an air cast most of the time. My next appointment is in 2 weeks and then they will deturmine if I can go back to my job. In the meanwhile I have to take it easy but at the same time try to build it up. Later the car place called and told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and would call me in the morning to see if I wanted to continue with the troble shooting. They called me today and told me that they did 2.5 hours of labor on it already and wanted to know if I wanted to continue I gave the go ahead for 2 more hours and he said that would bring me up to $290 in labor. They haven't called me back again today but if they still don't know what's wrong with it I'm going to scrap the search and junk the car and get something else because between paying labor for nothing I'm also paying 54 moneys a day for the rental car to get to work where on my comp I make $70 a day. So, it's fucked up and there's my rant for the day. Cheer me up by sending me some warm wishes and some mail!
