Walter: Excellent! Let's make some LSD!

Quotes
Walter: therefore, of course, i'll need a lab immediately.
Boyles: doctor, you have one. your old lab at harvard. we reopened it for you. do you not remember that?
Walter: no. no, but that's fantastic news!

Walter: but first they fornicated. had intercourse, sex.
Peter: okay, we got it.

Quotes
Peter: You brought your own sweetener?
Walter Bishop: Don't be ridiculous. My medication.
Peter: You're not on any medication, Walter.
Walter Bishop: Of course I am. I've been making it myself in the lab.
Peter: Oh, I wish you were joking.

Astrid Wait, you want to rewire his brain?
Walter: Not without his permission. It would be a minor surgery.
Peter: Minor brain surgery. Emphasis not on the minor.

Olivia Dunham: He told me he loved me.
Charlie Francis: I wasn't going to tell you this, but he said he loved me too.

Fringe 1x04 The Arrival
Appearance of mysterious cylinder triggers odd behavior and surprising revelations. A bald, eyebrowless man who has been seen in previous episodes speaks for the first time. WALTER tells PETER the truth about a near-fatal experience from PETER's childhood.

Quotes
Peter: He was awake until five in the morning reciting the chemical compositions of his favorite beverages to me. That was right after he finished lecturing me on how I'd squandered my above-average intellect and my substantial education. All while he was standing there naked, because he prefers the breeze.

Quotes

Quotes
WALTER: To understand what happened at the diner, we use Mr. Papaya.
(he places the papaya in the container and steps back
WALTER:This is upsetting because he is the friendliest of fruits.

OLIVIA: WALTER - her disease… If there’s no cure --
WALTER: Well, that’s the question. And one which we should pose to whoever was treating her. Which makes three questions. The other one being, what exactly happened here?
PETER: That’s only two questions.
WALTER: Oh… is it? Oh, the third question! Um, could I get some of this onion soup? It looks delicious.
LOL

PETER: You’re probably way ahead of me on this already, but I’m noticing certain uncomfortable similarities between this and some of the other incidents we’ve been covering lately. More humans, being used as Guinea pigs. My point is, if this is part of the pattern, what if these people aren’t just experiments? What if somebody is preparing for something? (notices a crowd arriving) Maybe we should come back later.

i really like this argument between PETER and OLIVIA in WALTER's lab:

PETER: (knocks and enters) Hey, how’s it going?
OLIVIA: It’s great. Esterbrook’s our only lead to where they're holding Claire Williams, and I can’t get to him. I mean, the guy’s cleaner than snow. Not even as much as an unpaid parking ticket.
PETER: Well, I think we actually might be making some progress. a couple of minutes ago, WALTER thought he might have isolated the compound that’s in Emily Kramer’s blood, but then he got distracted by the unicorn running through the lab.
OLIVIA: Funny.… Anything else? Got any more jokes?
PETER: All right, something’s been bugging you all day. Something other than Claire Williams. And that’s okay. You know what? We’re all allowed to have our bad days. What’s not fine is blaming it on me. I want to find her just as much as you do.
OLIVIA: You’re right. I’m sorry.… I… I’m sorry. Fine. I have a stepfather, and when he drank, he accused my mom of seeing other men, and then he’d hit her. And she’d just live with it. Never called police, not once. Then one day, he beat her really bad and broke her nose. I was nine. He stormed out of the house, got his car and drove off, my mom’s crying and I can’t help her, and then I hear his car. He’s turned back around. He kept a gun in the drawer near his bed. When he opened the door, I pulled the trigger. Then I pulled it again. And I can still see his face - - almost daring me to finish. But I couldn’t. So… they took him to the hospital and said that he couldn’t be saved, but he didn’t die. He recovered. Then one night, he just slipped away. We never saw him again. And I still blame myself, because I should’ve done it if. I should’ve killed him. And I know that rationally, he is not responsible for all the bad things in the world, but he is responsible for some of them. And every year he sends me a card on my birthday… Just to let me know… That he’s still out there.
PETER: It’s your birthday today? (nods) No man is untouchable OLIVIA. If you really want Esterbrook, all you have to do is talk to your friend Nina Sharp. Massive Dynamic as three separate pharmaceutical divisions they’re all in direct competition with Intrepus. Their annual budget for corporate espionage could feed a mid-sized nation. I guarantee you she has something on David Esterbrook.
OLIVIA: Yeah, but even if you’re right, I can’t go to her.
PETER: Why not?
OLIVIA: Because despite their annual budget, corporate espionage is wildly illegal. You really think that she’d admit that to me? It’s here somewhere. I know it is. I just have to look harder.
PETER: (walks out) I’m going out.
WALTER: Okay.… Oh, PETER! To be honest, I didn’t even know you were here.

Fringe 1x07 In Which We Meet Mr Jones
The Science Team tackles a case involving a strange, almost-otherworldly parasite that has attached itself to the internal organs of a dying FBI agent. Racing against time, Agent Dunham flies to Germany to meet with an imprisoned man who reveals disconcerting details of a much larger threat. Meanwhile, PETER and WALTER attempt to help OLIVIA by tapping into a dead man's brainwaves.

Quotes
BROYLES: We need him to focus.
PETER: To focus? Mister Broyles… two-thirds of the time, my father’s not even lucid. And in those rare and unpredictable moments of clarity, he rambles on about the foods and beverages that he missed while he was incarcerated in a mental institution for the better part of the last two decades. To say that he’s not focused… Is to say that he’s a bi-ped - which is to say, you’re absolutely right. He’s not focused. And also, it’s not going to change anytime too soon. I’m his son - I’m not a puppeteer. I’d don’t have a remote control. There’s no master switch I can flick and turn him into the man I wish had raised me, or even somebody I don’t have to baby-sit ever day.… I guess I’ve had that on my mind for awhile.
BROYLES: Apparently.

WALTER: Hello PETER, this is me, your father. WALTER Bishop
PETER: Thank you WALTER. I know who you are.

Fringe 1x08 The Equation
After a young music prodigy is taken by a serial kidnapper, it's discovered that a sequence of flashing lights appeared at the abduction, which WALTER links back to his bunkmate at St. Claire's Hospital. Much to PETER's dismay, OLIVIA encourages WALTER to return to the mental institution, and WALTER's determination to help ends up having chilling ramifications.

Quotes

Fringe 1x09 The Dreamscape
A Massive Dynamic employee is so convinced he is being attacked by butterflies that he jumps out of a window to escape them, and the Science Team is called in to investigate. Although OLIVIA's unexplained interaction with Agent Scott leads to breaks in the case, she is so desperate to rid her consciousness of him that she demands to go back in the tank. Meanwhile, the jig is up for PETER when a former friend and some current foes find out he's back in Boston.

Quotes
PETER: You want some company?
OLIVIA: No. Thanks.
PETER: OLIVIA, if you need me, I'm here.
OLIVIA: Yeah, I know.

Fringe 1x10 Safe
A team of robbers steals the contents of selected safety deposit boxes by using technology to literally walk through the walls of bank vaults. The thefts give them access to pieces of a device described by WALTER as a time machine. Although WALTER never tested the machine, the leader of the robbers uses it to teleport a criminal from a German prison to a deserted airstrips in Massachusetts. OLIVIA is kidnapped.

Quotes
PETER: WALTER? Hey, WALTER! Wake up! WALTER. WALTER, wake up. This is important.
WALTER: (jostled awake) oh, oh, Oh?… Do you two want to use the room?
