As the door opens, I realize that once again there are no lights in this room. I step out into the void and try to force my eyes to dilate, allowing me to see in the dark. After thirty seconds I can begin to make out the shadows of multiple desks, as if I were in an office building. Again I try to find a light switch. About ten feet down the wall I reach a series of three switches and flip them simultaneously.

Light floods the room around me which is massive. It looks as if it were some type of government complex or agency building. The desks are like those of agents for the FBI or CIA and a large glass window divides the upper level, where I am currently standing, and the huge vaulted room which the upper levels surround. There are large monitors and TV screens in what seem to be a type of war room.

As I look at the desks around me I realize that something terrible has happened here. Decapitated and pulverized corpses lie strewn around the room. There are trails of blood and blood-stained footprints leading away from each body. They were slaughtered. Some of the panes of the large window is shattered, other parts are speckled with bullet holes. Files and folders are scattered around the floor as if a tornado passed through.

As I make my way around the semicircle that is the upper level I hear a sudden banging noise. I turn and notice another door like the one I had just escaped. “Let me out of here…someone…please!”, says a muffled male scream. His voice is very familiar to me.

I walk over to the door and try the knob. It’s locked.

“Hang on in there”, I say trying to comfort him. “I need to find a key.”

“Who are you?”, he questions.

Searching in my thoughts, the question boggles my mind. “Just hang on.”

Need to find a key.

I turn and start searching the dead bodies’ pockets for keys. Finally I come across what looks to be a dead security guard with a loop of keys on his belt.

As I reach down to unhook the keys, the bloody hand of the security guard quickly grabs my arm. Shocked in horror I scream and try to jump up, but his grasp is very tight. He lunges forward trying to bite my arm, but I keep flailing and he can’t make contact. I kick the zombie in the head and he falls back momentarily. As it starts to get up and pursue me, I run to the nearest weapon I could think of…a steel chair. I bash the zombie over the head with the chair and it falls to the ground. Stunned for only a moment, it begins to twitch again. I take the leg of the chair and ram it through it’s brain. The twitching stops. Destroyed the brain. Now how did I know to do that?

I grab the loop of keys and the 9mm handgun from the holster on the belt. Getting back to the door I start testing the keys. Twelve keys in the door unlocks. When the door opens, memories start to flood back into my brain as the man standing in front of me gives me the feeling of being a brother. I try to think of who he is, but my memories are still cloudy. He looks into my eyes in confusion. Then he bursts into a leap and tackles me to the ground, punching me multiple times in the face. “WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY WAS I LOCKED IN THAT ROOM!?!?!”
