Ah…oh crap....I…really don't think this is the other world.  I know I've never actually been to the other world so I don't really know what it should look like but…I'm pretty sure this is not it.

Asuna and the others are probably going to kill me!  It was my idea to go there in the first place and now I'm here and…who knows where they are!!

Well, um, I'm new here too and I'm not sure what's going on. But there's a HUUUUGE monster, and a bunch of little crab monsters... basically, don't go out in the streets unless you have a weapon or can do magic.

Monsters? That's not good...so no one has taken care of them?

Sadly, I seem to have lost my staff...I think I can still do magic though. I'm surprised so many people know about that though...magic that is...this really is a different place.

Well sure. Lots of people know about magic in my world. There's even an entire army of mages. You should meet Clari. He's the commander of the army and the strongest mage... um... I think ever.

I can only do a tiny bit of magic myself, and I'm not very good at it at all. It's hard work to learn!

Well a lot of people know in my world too(in fact I was trying to GET to the Magic World when I ended up here) but...well...normal people aren't supposed to find out...it can lead to punishments for the mages that reveal it. Of course I seem to be rather bad at hiding it myself since over half of my class knows my secret. Still those were special circumstances.

The strongest mage? That would certainly be an honor...my father was rumored to be the most powerful where I'm from...they called him The Thousand Master.

Ah...but enough about me...is this Clari person here as well?

Magic is one of the only ways to keep the mazoku at bay in my world. Even great warriors learn a little bit, and it comes in all forms. The mage armies all know powerful spells, but I know a few people who use magic music too.

Clari's very strong. He has to be to command the magic armies. He's also my mother's bodyguard... my mother's a great mage in her own right too, and so was my older brother before he died. I guess I'll just have to work hard to catch up with them, right?

Yes, he's here somewhere... I haven't found him yet though. I've been trying to track him down so we can stick together. I've met so many wonderful friends here but it's nice to have someone from home too.

Amazing! He must be quite skilled then. I'm still in training myself but I hope to one day catch up to my father as well. I'm sure we'll be able to achieve our goals one day Miss Flute!
