I'm now reading The Hobbit.
Books I've read since my last update:
Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky (Awaken #1) ★★★☆☆ - I had to look this up to remind myself what it was about, not a great sign. I did like it when I was reading it, but the story line could have been done much better. It's set in a future when everything is done on computer and Maddie is a teenager who starts to see what things were like before. This very much turned into a love story though.
The Bones of You by Debbie Howells ★★★☆☆ - This was a fairly standard missing teenager story, it was a good read
Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes by Denise Grover Swank (Rose Gardner #1) ★★★☆☆ - An OK story. The fact that the main character has visions wasn't really used as much as I'd hoped, appart from in the set up to the story.
Royal Assassin by Robbin Hobb (Farseer Trilogy #2) ★★★★☆ - Realy enjoyed this. I'm looking forward to reading the final book in the trilogy.
Numbers by Rachel Ward (Numbers #1) ★★★☆☆ - This wasn't the dystopian novel that the synopsis I've read made it sound. It's set in modern Britain and is actually more of a tale of two teenagers on the run. It was dissapointing to be so different to what I though, but after getting over that I enjoyed it.
The Chaos by Rachel Ward (Numbers #2) ★★★☆☆ - The sequel to the above set about 16 years in the future, again I enjoyed it but didn't love it. I will be reading the third book in the trilogy.
The Big Four by Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot #5) ★★★☆☆ - This is a novel, which is made up of a series of cases in one story. All linking back to The Big Four. After The Mysterious Affair at Styles, this is my favourite so far.
The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence ★★★★☆ I definitely reccommend this. Not my usual type of book but I really enjoyed it!
