Confusion
Wow this book is getting away from me.
I have been working on it all day today and have to admit to being a little confused as to where it's going and if it's getting there fast enough. I am probably about halfway through the book and am on page 248 already. Of course some books need to be long, and I love a good long book, but sometimes you can feel when a story is dragging on too much. I think because this project is so big I'll have to go back to it again and edit it down more. I can already see one chapter I can definitely lose. And maybe if I speed things up I can make the book feel faster and better. At the moment I feel it's getting a bit repetitive.
Maybe I'm being too hard on it. Maybe it's fine as it is. But if I'm not one hundred percent happy with my work then I'm not going to leave it alone. For now I'm going to proceed to the end of the book and then make my decisions about where to go next.
