Re-Work
Today I started work on the final re-write of Soul Mates Volume I. Re-write sounds like too grand a name for what I'm actually doing because not that much will be changed. As I've said before, I just want to tidy up the writing and take out some of the repetiveness, which is annoyingly common in my work.
I've completed Book One of the story. I didn't add much, just a couple of paragraphs. I think I cut out twice as much as I put in because I felt I'd overwhelmed the reader with too much information that I think could be added later in the book.
So far so good. I'm very pleased with how much work needs doing, that it's not as bad as I think it is (I am my harshest critique), and that I am able to make all the changes I wanted to.
