Dreams
Alrighty, this was a weird one.
Not as weird as some of them can get, but I figured we'd get to know one another before I get to the really strange ones, don't you?
I'm sitting outside on the sidewalk, panting like I'm about to transform into some sort of dog(has happened before) and I can't seem to be able to cool off. So I do what any person would do in that circumstance; I start to shed my clothing.
Now this is notable for a few reasons; I live in a place where it very rarely gets that hot, as well as the fact that we are moving into our winter season, and I have a rather low opinion of my body. It's not so bad that I skip meals or anything like that, it's more that me stripping in the middle of the day in plain view of anyone that could walk by is pretty out-of-character for me...
Soon enough, Dream Me is down to my underwear and I'm still not feeling any cooler, despite the fact that I'm now barely even covered. I'm growing frustrated because I feel uncomfortable and sweaty which, in turn, is making itch something fierce. So Dream Me decides that the last bit covering me has got to go and within seconds, Dream Me is standing naked in the streets!
As odd as all of this is(for me, anyway...), the strange part is what happens next:
Apparently, even stripped down to my birthday suit, I still can't cool off! So, Dream Me does the next thing she can think off and starts peeling off my skin!
Which doesn't hurt. At all.
It's more like I'm a lizard and I'm just shedding unnecessary skin.
The weird part-aside from me peeling off my skin-is that the skin underneath that isn't pink, or pale like my normal skin is, nor does it turn into another shade or become all shiny and mystical either. Oh no, my new skin is something that is kinda disgusting and utterly intriguing at the same time.
My new skin is completely transparent.
As in, you can see every single muscle in my body and watch as they stretch and contort as I move.
Dream Me is completely unfazed by this and the last thought Dream Me has before I wake is that I've finally cooled down.
Soooooooooooooo....
