and rhiannon cannot testify because it is, essentially, a case of her father vs her brother. she would not make a reliable witness on either side because she would be seen to have divided loyalties. in the english legal system - which also covers wales, close family such as husband and wife, parent and offspring or siblings cannot be called to testify against the other side simply due to their biased nature.

The ultimate cliffhanger!!!! I really can't help but feel this case will not end in Ianto's favour. I hate Strutt with a passion but I think the courtroom and jury are on his side.....

It doesn't look good for Ianto at this point. If Lloyd gets off Ianto will have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder, waiting for another attack. I'm very worried about the outcome of this.
