ACTA is a Bill propsed by multinational corporations to severely limit our right to information through the internet. Whilst it may be seen as an equivalent to the recently quashed SOPA bill in America, in reality, it is worse because it encorporates the whole world and all negotiations are held in secret. Recently, the EU has passed a vote on it but the Bill needs six signing members to ratify it - none of which have done so yet. If you believe in the right to freedom of speech and of information, sign this petition and let the world's governments know what we think. We successfully pushed back SOPA and we can successfully push back ACTA .
