To be quite honest this testimony helps Ianto more than i hopes his father

The fact is he wouldn't have been in that situation if he hadn't had to run away from home.

As far as i am aware this witness should not have been a suprise. As both the pros and defence have to hand over to each other their list to witnesss they are going to call. The pros would have spoke to Ianto about what the witness was going to say.

The Pros in this case should have a really good idea on how to counter this witness ie their history and so on to counter his testimony. ( I am happy to be corrected if I am wrong about the list ot witnesses both sides have to hand over) I know the pros has to handle over all evidence ot the defence or it is a mistrail (UK)

I would think the Jury should recalln becuase that is what this case is about. The fact tha Ianto was abused by his father and continued after he left home.

Hopefully the Pros in this case should be able to destroy the witness crediablity to shreds as he will be well prepared in advance to counter what he has told the Jury.

Loving this story

you are absolutely right about the pros and defence having to give each other their list of witnesses and the main points of law that they wish to bring up and facts that are admitted on both sides. they would no doubt both have copies of each of their witnesses statements ( ... )

Its a fasinating read. I love court room dramas.

I have a suspision that even if Lloyd was to be found 'not guilty' there is no way Jack and the team will let him get away with what he did.

Looking foward to the next chapter.

'I love court room dramas'.

it's ridiculous how relived that comment makes me feel. i've been worrying that it was starting to drag too much and that readers were getting bored so thank you.

Is it telling that I actually dreamed about LLoyd being found not guilty and the consequences last night :P Although...it is starting to seem tempting...
