OOH I like this judge *pats judge on the back and glares at Strutt*

Strutt was still seething inside. Damn Harkness!! Damn Clark!! Damn them all to hell!! ‘Just you wait, Ianto Jones. When I get you on that witness stand, you’re going to wish your Dad had killed you when he had the chance.’ “Yes, Your Honour. I will try to do better.”

WTF? I dont believe it does Strutt know his client is guilty and is till being such a bastard. What is he soe frined of My Jone's

What a Riveting chapter.

thank you:D i like this judge too:D

i think strutt probably does know that lloyd's guilty as will become apparent through the rest of the evidence but strutt is a bully and lloyd is a bully, it therefore makes sense that lloyd would hire someone as viscioius and as evil as him, you think this is bad; you havent seen what he's going to do to ianto!

the spontaneous clapping was...err...spontaneous:p one minute i was writing and the next they were clapping:D i just go with the flow and write what the muses tell me to:D

i will get around to reading your bigbang; i ran out of time:P i think i got to chapter four:P just one question; the spoiler bit at the top scares me; is there anything post c of e in there?

I totally know what you mean...muses lead...I follow - can't read a map to save my life so end up in all sorts of odd places!!!

All the time we have is a prequel to No place to hide which is a 2 part coe fixit so probably best if you consider them part of the same story... Then you get Lost inside of you...
Be assured I am a total hopeless romantic who lives for Janto kisses and happy ever afters...hey - kiss queen I am!!! xxx

my muses are like that too:P they look at the map and then tear it up:D that's how i got here in the first place; they went i wonder what's over there and this is what's over there apparently.

anyway, that's good to know; i'll try and read your fic as soon as i can but i accidentally read the first paragraph of your epilogue saying it was six months after c of e and i was like what???? what happened to the fluff?????? as you can tell, i can't/don't/won't read anything past c of e. but i'll read yours or maybe up to the point where c of e's included:D

Bravo Jack! And bravo to the Judge for calling Strutt on his shit! Now I'm just terrified for Ianto. Strutt is going for blood now and won't be satisfied with less! *shivers in dread*

thank you:D jack was quite good even if i do say so myself:D believe me, when strutt gets his hands on ianto, he is going to say and do every trick in the book to discredit him; court etiquette be damned.

This judge is absolutely awesome. I like how Jack handled Strutt's idiocy. I am really enjoying this story and I can't wait to see what happens next. Excellent work!~Sophia

thank you:D i like how jack handled strutt as well:D he's fighting for ianto so that will make him less likely to take any of strutt;s nonsense as he knows it could affect ianto's future

Ok - we all know that in RL Strutt's wouldn't get half those questions out before they were objected to and Jack would never be allowed to give such long answers.

But.....its fan fic and I love it! Just once in RL I'd like to see a witness tell a prosecutor or defense attorney to 'stick it.' But I enjoyed this regardless because TW is not meant to be like RL.

yep, we do know that:D my lovely beta used to be in the police force in america and you have been as well i think? and i have researched uk courts and thier procedures and so on, but then i thought nah...i'll use some artistic license here or the trial wont be nearly as interesting:D

besides, it's crucial that strutt sows these seeds of doubt about ianto and jack's relationship and in particular how...healthy it is as it will be a recurring theme and forms the largest part of lloyd's defence as we will see in later chapters:P besides, it's just fun telling strutt to stick it every couple of questions:D

I am soooo not in law enforcement. Nor am I in the legal profession. And I'm not a criminal either (as far as I know). Just watched too much L.A. Law in my younger years.
