Author’s note Once again, thanks to royalladyemma for continous hand holding. And three updates in one week! I think that's a record:P Also, slight linguistical note on the use of Mum and it's variants. This is very sweet.

As to your question (and don't feel bad, I had to look this up and I actually taught high school English for a short time) Mom and Dad are capitalized when used as a proper noun (in place of a name), but lower case when used to describe a relationship. So "Dad said..." would be capitalized, but "My dad said..." would not.

Very curious as to what took Mam away.....and Lloyd may have been jealous of all the attention she gave Ianto. There are some fathers who are jealous of the time the wife spends on the kids. Ianto needs to be adopted by a new dad.
