Author’s note: Just a note to say, I know next to nothing of police procedure having never been on the receiving end of it so all you're going to see in the next few chapters is what I remember from tv which has been occasionally tweaked to fit with the story. In other words, I don't have a clue what I'm writing about;) Hopefully it is plausible

It HAS to work!!!! Poor Ianto! Surely that PC has to have seen the bruising on Ianto's neck like Jack did!!!! Ianto is too upset to be taken to the police station...I only hope he'll not be interrogated without Jack or he'll break down!! My poor little lamb!!!

The team surely will help him though!!! I'm sure of it!

thank you;) well the police can be remarkably obtuse at times, you'd think they'd have the sense to think, hang on, this guy can barely talk at the mo, is it wise to put him in a police environment? but there you go. the team are behind him 200% all the way, they won't let anything more happen

This is so intense! I love how the team is coordinating to support and defend Ianto. I'm pretty sure that Ianto's got a strong case for self-defense here, especially considering the fall didn't kill his (bastard of a so-called) father. I'm always horrified by child abuse, and I'm hoping that unlike so many other children, you can give Ianto a chance here to put that pain to rest. It's interesting to see Ianto's carefully crafted facade crumbling, and I like how you've given a real, believable reason for his falliability. I'm very excited to see how this plays out. Great work!

thank you:) i loved the idea of the team working together to help ianto too:) i just thought it would be such a good way to show how brilliant and close they all are. ianto should have a strong case but a lot depends on how much he's willing to reveal but hopefully with jack's love and support he'll be strong enough to see it through and get the closure he so desperately needs. im flattered that you think this is plausible and are interested in how his mask in crumbling to see the real person hiding behind it. i hope i write up to your expectations!

Great chapter. Love the idea of the team working together to get Iantos Dad put away, just hope Ianto doesn't say anything while he is so traumatised that the police could use against him!- get him a lawyer quick Jack!

thank you:) i loved the idea as well, i just htought it was a brilliant wat to show the team at their best and show how close htey all are. hopefully ianto doesnt say anything incriminating but then, what could he say? then again, he's had 20 odd years of being told he's worthless so that could distort his view of things.
