first post in a million years coming right up...
Today something happened that I thought I ought to mention, you know for future reference. I got my first acceptance letter. It was from Western. And just like almost all of the schools I applied to I don't really want to go there. The letter was very nice though, it began with "It is our great pleasure to offer you admittance..." Isn't that nice of them? They seem so kind...
But even with all that, I was disappointed, because in all the movies when people get accepted, they get all excited and scream and hug their parents, and hold a party...I didn't do any of that...I was just like..joy, if only McGill would be nice enough to offer me the same amount of scholarship..
Now lest you who read this entry think I'm needlessly depressed, here's a story to calm your fears. On friday, when Dema was poking people with my overhead pointer (which I didn't end up using) I started to laugh really hard, but I think the skin of my face was dry so it really hurt, so then my laugh sounded like "hahahahaaaYELP" and people heard me and started to laugh at me, and then I laughed even harder and continued to go yelp. It was an awesome english class.
After this entry Olivia shall be doing research on the name of the dude in the gross Greek statue...I will succeed!! must find his name!! hehe good times in Bio class...
oh dude...when i wrote the name of the song i was listening to, I just remembered the book I'm reading now, It's the greatest book ever, if anyone speaks french and has a lot of patience "Le tango Chinetoque" is the book for you. Honestly no other book I have ever read made me laugh out loud as much as this one, unfortunately, to laugh you need to actually understand what it says, which is quite difficult since the book is written in an invented french slang..but oh the excitement of this book is really beyond words!!! yum yum... :D :D :D :D :D :D
