Dear Terri,

Aside from offering my congratulations, I am offering heartfelt thanks for everything I have gotten from the process. Your writing and journal comments have been both a joy to read and a springboard for many real-world discussions and book pursuits. Your advice on writing a personal statement for the application to a Ph.D. program helped me focus on what I needed to say, and made writing one much easier. I have enjoyed reading your dissertation chapters, and can only apologize for not getting through all of them before your defense. (I had a research deadline yesterday, and have been submerged for a few weeks.) While I've seen other people around me getting their Ph.D.s, I find yours inspiring my work more, not because it's close to what I've been doing, but because I've gotten to see your process from the inside.

If you need additional proof-reading before publication, let me know. I'd love to read it all again.

Thanks, and all blessings,

Van Lepthien
