It's ami-along time again and we don't have our new calendar yet! Oops! We'll get it done for the February ami-along. That gives you another month to request themes you'd like added (or removed) from the calendar.
So I guess I'm invoking mod privilege of arbitrarily choosing themes for this month ...
In honor of the start of a new year, January's ami-along is (drum roll):
Babies! and/or Breakfast
Not free pattern (but oh so cute!), here
Babies! can be baby-doll-like creations, or cute little baby animals. Or baby plants if you like! or baby Peas in a Pod if that tickles you. ;o) even ami's you're making FOR a baby will fit in here! Ooh! I just made a Baby Bot (baby robot)! Yay! That'll fit! :o)
And Breakfast is anything you'd like to eat for the start of your day:
pancakes, waffles, French toast
eggs and bacon, sausage (or turkey bacon, turkey sausage or soy bacon/ sausage)
cereal - hot or cold
coffee, tea, juice
donuts, pastries, fruits
protein shake, smoothie ...
Anything you can think of that you might like at breakfast.
Sorry, couldn't find a pattern link for this but with a
bacon pattern and an egg pattern, it can be done! :o)

Of course these are American kinds of breakfast foods, that I've mentioned, because that's my background, but don't limit yourself!! Since we have members from all over the world, we'd love to see examples of not-American kinds of breakfasts! What do YOU like to eat when you get up?
