(no subject)
It's been ages since I last showed up here, so now's the time to make up for that: I come bearing last month's ami-along contribution. I made Sanji, the cook from the anime/manga One Piece.
Here's a pic of the anime character:

Since he's a cook, he has to pose in the kitchen:
He is such a ladies' man, so of course we'll catch him wooing some of the more buxom creatures in my yarnville... doing his usual boneless dance of love around them. :D
Or fighting with someone... I really have to make a Zorro for him, just to have someone to bicker with... Poor Lee.
Additional info:
Since I'm not a fan of smoking OR lollipops, I decided to make him without his usual stick dangling from the mouth - he looks better without it. For me at least.
He's a part of One Piece - in more than one way: limbs, head and body all crocheted in one continous spiral. :D
I actually have a RL friend (who also reads my blog) whose name, general outlook and talent is strikingly similar to the anime character's. He's a musician, thogh, and not a fighter. :D
I so gotta make a Zoro now.....(frankly I have no idea why I made Sanji first, as Zoro is my favorite character from the series...)
