As you can tell by the Caps I'm really excited to post. These are the first things I ever crocheted, so here we go.
So this is the Pink Collection and since I don't like the color pink I thought this would be a good color yarn to start with, it is RedHeart Designer Sport yarn for most of the body (the pink and purple colors) anything else is yarn I found around the house.
So here is my first amigurumi ever using the Rudy the Rectangle Amigurumi pattern from LionBrand:
Yeah he came out quite..."special". I gave him to my mom for mother's day lol. And now he sits on her desk at work. Yeah the next few are definitely better looking.
This is the second Rudy that I did an it did come out better, I learned the lesson of different weighted yarns in the last one.
Next is my free-form that I am going to call Amphizard (Amphibian and Lizard). Truly he was going to be a ball at first but then I keep on going and thus "TA-DA".
^_^ Yeah I really like that thing. He has a few issues with his legs because they are unstuffed and different sizes, but the basic idea is there. His eyes were also an experiment snitched with yarn instead of thread.
I'm thinking of starting to sell some of the free-forms and patterns I create once I get much better at making the dolls, picking out yarns, etc. But I have a some questions.
What weight of yarn do you find works the best for amigurumi and what brand?
Where are good places to buy eyes?
What are some good patterns to practice on?
Thanks for reading this guys!
