Hello! I'm new here and I'm looking for an amigurumi cowboy pattern. I've been trying so hard to think of something I can make for my manly man dad, and the only thing I can think of is an amigurumi Pistol Pete for his office. He would love it!

I don't have a pattern, sorry.

I knit a Boss Hogg doll for someone this christmas, and I ended up using a basic person pattern, then borrowed bits from other patterns for the clothes, and just kind of made bits up. For the hat, I couldn't find ANY knit pattern at all, so I ended just free forming a crocheted one using 2 strands held together - and it turned out ok :)

You could try modifying a pattern of a doll. Here's a couple for example:

I agree with snuffykin... finding a pattern for that character exactly might be difficult, but there are scads of doll patterns and you can find one that suits the shapes you want and then make the accessories (and hair and mustache) to create the character ( ... )
