Does anyone have a tutorial about crocheting an ami such that instead of creating a spiral shape as you stitch, you create increasing bands so that it's easier to change color? Am I making sense?
For instance, I'd like a video or an illustration that shows something like this:
R1: Sc 6 in magic ring, sl st to close round.
R2: Ch 1, sc 1 in same, [inc] around, sl st to close round.
R3: Ch 1, sc 1 in same, inc, inc, sc 3, [inc] 3 times, sc 3, sl st to close round.
I'd appreciate any help you can give!
