My First Amigurumi!
Hey all. :) I've been lurking here since I found out what amigurumi were, and I decided that I had to learn how to make these cute little guys.
Mr. Elephant is my first amigurumi and my first crochet project. I'm really proud of him, mistakes and all.
Sorry for the bad photo - my camera broke and all I have is my Macbook Pro. He's supposed to have much brighter colors.

As you can see in picture number two, he's so big! I thought amigurumi were supposed to be small. I mean, I guess it's fitting, since he's an elephant. Any ideas on what I could've done wrong?
I'm working on the octopus now, so I hope to use whatever tips you have to give for my octopus.
