Hi all!
I found this community while browsing around for patterns for beginner amigurumi. I started crocheting about a year ago, and after a few hats and blankets, I decided to venture into patterns. I've only created two amigurumi so far, so they're a bit rough, and I definitely need to improve my embroidery skills ^^;

My very first amigurumi was created last weekend from the Inner Child Crochet Ugly Duckling pattern. I made it for my boyfriend, but added the cape to make it into a super duck. Evil hath no greater enemy.
My second amigurumi was a small variation the Gabu pattern at Roxycraft. I'm not really sure what motivated the colors, but I suppose it will be good for Halloween. I'm hoping to make another Gabu of a ninja, so that it can be pirates vs. ninjas. Whoever shall win?
