Currently, I am studying to become a medical laboratory technician and I have clinical microbiology this semester. We are studying the family of Staphylococcus microbes right now. This group includes the MRSA - "Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus" - the "super bug" that is making people sick. It's a nasty little bug as it was something that just made you a little sick. However, it has lately become resistant to the medicine (methicillin) that used to kill it. Now, doctors are having a tough time treating patients who have this infection.
I crocheted this last night - instead of studying.
Oh no! The Super Bug is on my keyboard! Get the antibacterial wipes! I need to go wash my hands!
The little cape and stuff are made of felt. The cape helps hold him upright.
I haven't posted in a while because I was sewing a lot of presents for the holidays. So, for those of you who've been around a while, I'm the one who made the blood cell amigurumis a long time ago.
--->EDIT<---
I showed Super Bug to my microbiology prof and she wants me to make more bugs! Ha ha!
