New Things
I bought a cell phone over break. It seemed like it was long overdue, and I was going to need one anyway after graduation. There were times in the past where I was greatly inconvenienced or missed opportunities because I couldn't communicate with someone.
For the first time, I have a campus job. I figured some experience being a TA would be good, so I TA the physics junior independent study lab every thursday. Everyone is a junior and has a pretty good idea of what their doing. I'm also friends with several of the students in the lab, so it's a pretty easy job. It doesn't hurt that I get paid for it either.
A housemate (John Mckay) got a Xbox 360 over winter break, so him, another friend (John Gamble), and I have been playing cooperatively through Marvel Ultimate Alliance. He also purchased Castlevania: SotN. They're both excellent games, so there's plenty to do in my spare time.
