Today I went to Orienteering. It seemed okay, there were a lot of people there (about two hundred?), mainly teenagers or people in their early twenties. Everyone was split up alphabetically into classrooms of about ten. The lady whose class I was in reminded me of my old Geography teacher Mrs Johns. Same short, round frame. Same messy black hair. Same glasses over tiny eyes. Same funny voice. All the tours ended at the canteen, where I sat and drank my free drink, freaking out that everyone seemed so comfortable already. I had to hand in some form to get a SmartRider, and the guy recognised my surname. He was all, "Oh, I remember Annie! She came here a good few years back. She was brilliant! I'm looking forward to seeing your results at the end of the year." Wow, way to put the pressure on. Then I promptly left, so all was fine.
I officially start tomorrow. First class is Art (yay!) and then I have English. Apparently I have a really good English teacher. He's from Northern Ireland. Hope I can understand him. Northern accents always threw me.
Yesterday I got my hair cut. It's in a really cute bob. Love it. Then last night, Chloe, Sinead and myself went to Sizzlers at around 7pm. Our movie wasnt set to start for over another two hours, so we stayed there the whole time, ordered the Salad Bar, took occasional breaks and ate way too much. Chloe only had some salad (literally, she had some lettuce and other silly vegetables) and a little bit of icecream. Way to waste $18.95! Sinead and I raped that place. Raped and pillaged!
Then we saw Brokeback Mountain! Ooooh, it was hot. Went for a long time though. Yeah. That's it.
