[ After seeing the broad cast on the news, the first and only thought Lan Fan had was to move out of the house. With a mostly non-drone population, she'd expect them to creepily leak her location, even if they were powered off. As she continues to leap from house to street light to house again her mind races on just where she could go. Upon a second glance at the TV screen, she decides on the only person she has made any sort of friendship with during the past months: Canada.

As Lan Fan heads to Canada for hope and honesty, she decided it'd be best to avoid the direct approach in case she had other housemates that'd be encouraged to kill the "dopplegangers". So she decides to climb in the window right in front of Canada without any explanation as to why! What a perfectly great idea! ]

[It may not have been meant as a surprise, but it acts as one, and the way Canada flinches at the sudden intruder might have one thinking she was ready to be on the defensive. Seeing who it is, though, she just furrows her brows in a sad sort of confusion.]

Lan Fan? [Or something likes her, at least.]

[ Lan Fan pauses right there. She doesn't move a step forward, or a step backward, instead, she continues to sit beneath the window sill in total amazement. Her puzzled expression can only be asked through a simple question.

Being recognized as someone who was real was such a rare thing, Lan Fan double takes before asking. Behind her mask, something of a desperately hopeful expression was starting to form. ]

You ... recognize me, right? [ The overly cautious Lan Fan just needs to double check here. She's not lowering her guard until anyone's proven that she can briefly let down their defenses. In order to do this, they must be freed from the town's supposed influence to kill everyone. ]

I know... [She knows who Lan Fan is masquarading as. Her instinct to find the faults in all those sharing fates matching hers is in a constant battle with her compassion and want to believe them.]

I recognize you, yes. As much as the town would rather you come off as a poor copy.

[ Lan Fan is definitely able to control some instincts that Canada is a terrible terrible fraud, and, she doesn't quite listen to them either. Her reply is convincing enough. ]

The town must also believe the same thing for you then. Are you going to be hunted down...? [ She sounds very concerned at this point. She definitely doesn't want Canada to die! She's one of the very few that can get Lan Fan to open up. ]

That's... a good question, actually. [She doesn't know yet, doesn't know how far to trust her housemate. She does know that if he wants to follow those instructions, though, it'll be a fierce fight.]

If I am, though, not to worry, sweetheart, I won't let him finish me off. The girl in this house in the same state, and I need to stick around to protect her. And you, if you think you're at risk.

[ Lan Fan immediately begins to search through her sleeves for something, but she'll continue to speak as she fumbles through it. ]

I do not think I'm at risk. I can defend myself well. How well can the girl in your house defend herself? [ ...She really is searching for grenades, Canada! ]

She has a number of creature companions that supposedly fight very well. Not that I'm about to let Netherlands near enough to her for them to have to defend her, of course.

[Canada tilts her head a little bit, just watching Lan Fan.]

She does? Are they chimeras?

[ Lan Fan takes four grenades out of her sleeves and hands them over to Canada. ]

Here. Takes these. The black ones are actual explosives and there are two of them. The green one is one that makes tear gas, and the blue one is a flash grenade. [ Yes, she is in all seriousness handing you grenades. ]

Umm, not quite. Something along those lines, though. [Maybe. Heck if she actually knows. Pokemon are confusing.

The grenades, though, get a slight tilt of Canada's head.]

You need these more than I do, dear.

Is that all you have for descriptions? [ Lan Fan knows about pokemon!! She'd be able to talk to you about them if she knew what you were talking about them. ]

I have more stocked. These are expendable. Please, I insist! [ it's the least she can do since you cooked for her! ]

They're... Pokemon, I guess she calls them? They're a variable, but apparently effective bunch.

[After a little hesitation, Canada nods and takes the grenades.] Thank you for these.

Pokémon? You mean like the type Dia has? I know someone who has them. I've sparred with them once or twice. [ Yep. That is normal for her. ]

It is not a problem.

Oh, I see, then you know they're a good thing for Hilda to have to keep herself safe. Not that I'm going to let Netherlands get near her, but... well. Better safe than sorry, eh?

They are. The one I sparred with could create earthquakes and razor sharp leaves.

It is better to be cautious though.
