oh dear trust me to catch swine flu
yup its been made official today i have swine flu.
the whole family have been ill off and on for last few weeks but last week i got a real bad sore throat so bad in fact that i lost my voice last weekend.(a god send to some people)
however on monday i felt brilliant after a good nights sleep so took the kids out to hoo farm and had a great day out.
unfortunatley tuesday morning saw the return of said bad throat,it wasnt bad just a tickle and a bit hard to swallow but nothing major.
went to work thinking it must have just been a sore throat but i got worse as the day went on until at the end of the shift i was exhausted and resorted to sitting down while waiting to clock out and putting bike helmet on floor as i didnt have energy to hold it.
managed to get the bike home but after id put rain cover on(i have to lie on floor to attach the clips together to stop it blowing away)i just lay on floor for 10 mons cos i didnt have the energy to get up.
took me over an hour to drag myself into the house,get showered and changed and sit down.drank a lemsip then bed.
yesterday felt the same so didnt go in.
today felt better but as hayley was booking an appointment for herself she tried to get me one but was told i had to phone the swine flu hotline.
so i did and they said i had some of the symptoms so i must have it 5-7 days at home no work etc.
now for the interesting bit
i contacted my boss and he has asked me not to tell any of the lads i work with!!!!!!!!!!
im disgusted cos those blokes have family too and id never forgive myself if their families caught this as well.
they should at least be forwarned so they can check on it the minute they show any signs of symtoms.i thought swine flu had gone away so i think that they should warn everyone that its still around before they end up like me thinking they have a flu virus and its something worse
